However, if he's less sure of himself, he might be concerned with his physical appearance. You may notice nervous preening behavior like running a hand through his hair or licking his lips.

Falling Hard

How he'll act: In this stage, a guy will begin bringing you into his world by including you in many of his activities, whether it's jogging or watching a game on TV. He may also choose time with you over guys' nights or trips to the gym.

Body language to look for: In addition to staring deeply into your eyes (yes, it's cliche but also a clue), there will be an increase in sweet touching, like his gently stroking your cheek or brushing hair out of your eyes.

Head Over Heels

How he'll act: You may think the hottest erotic action occurs in the first flush of romance, but it gets better once a man falls in love. He becomes so consumed with his feelings for you.

Body language to look for: Public displays of affection - like hand-holding may dip. He craves more of an emotional connection, so it may seem like he's more chatty but less touchy-feely.

Ready To Commit

How he'll act: If a man sees a future with you, he'll make you feel like the two of you are a team. He'll ask for your opinion on important decisions. The only bummer is, he may not be as open as he once was because in his mind, he's shared everything with you already.

Body language to look for: Mirroring your gestures and behaviors is a clue he's thinking long-term. The bond is so strong, he may subconsciously match your own movements. If you tilt your head to the right, he'll tilt his to the left; if you put a hand in your back pocket or in your lap, he might do the same.

On Men

Courtship is a disguise. By now, you should have noticed how your boyfriends change once the courtship stops and you get into a steady relationship with them. It's because you have to consider that a man courting a woman is an entirely different entity from a man who's already your boyfriend. To achieve the man's ultimate goal - which is to convince girls that they are boyfriend material - they often put their best foot forward. So make sure you know how to screen men well.

Men can get obsessed. On the other hand, some dudes are easily carried away by thier feelings that girls might think they're downright insane. Don't let this scare you - it could be that the boy's just head over heels in love with you, and that can be a good sign. Bask in the attention, but be kind to a genuine suitor.

Know when a man lies. Unfortunately, men are programmed to tell lies from time to time (or for some, each and every time), so be wary about latching on to the things guys say. Watch out for any of these telltale signs: fidgeting, no eye contact, change in voice, twitching nose, raising shoulders, foot-tapping, overt defensiveness and- the most dangerous of all - using humor or sarcasm to change the topic. What to do? Develop your own skill for lie-detecting banter. Or, better yet, don't listen to any man other than your father. Haha!

Zap Those Yucky Germs!

What's an easy way to disinfect kitchen sponges? Here's how. Immediately remove the batteries to prevent the camera from shorting out. Then let the camera dry out for a week in a safe, warm spot, like a sunny windowsill. If the camera uses film (rather than digital technology), leave the back open while drying. If you try these steps and your camera isn't working right, take it to a professional camera repair person.

Salt Please!

How do we prevent an ice tray from sticking to the freezer? Here's an easy solution. Simply sprinkle a thin layer of salt onto the freezer floor or shelf before putting a freshly filled ice tray inside. Why does this trick work? The salt lowers the freezing point of water, preventing the water droplets that inevitably form from the icing and fusing the bottom of the tray to the freezer.

How Can I Get Hair Out of my Hairbrushes?

Keep your paddle brushes in tip top shape by using a skinny rattail comb (available at drugstores) to rake the loose hairs out of the brush. And most of the time, what I usually air out are those which affect me in a negative way. I usually vent out feelings of soreness, solitude, despair and melancholy. But not this time. I know life is not perfect the way we want it to be. I am not yet rich, no stable employment yet, and still here. But then, I find life to be beautiful. There may be times that I feel troubled and sad, but those don't eat me. I choose to and still see the upside of life. There are lots of blessings and graces, both big and small which do not deserve to be missed out. Simple smiles and laughter mean a lot to me and make up my day. People around me who I know do love me, provide the strength I have to carry on in every step I take. Gratefulness is an understatement which is the only thing I could offer at the moment. Thank you is not enough, not even a quarter big, compared to the boons I continue to receive everyday from the One up above. With the countless grants I have received, I have learned to appreciate and believe in the beauty of faith, patience and perseverance. In the eyes of other people, my status may not be exceptional and envying, but for me, I know things are going great and are happening as they should. I can see and feel that I am starting to tread the track I longed for to take. Step by step I'm reaching a dream of mine and of my family.

Healthy Glow

Get glowing with an all-over self-tanner. It could be as simple as a backyard picnic on weekends, trip to a nearby carnival on summer, or DVD marathons over popcorn on rainy days.

Throw in the love.
Make sure that love is communicated- whether through words or deeds- to every member of the family. Let no one be more favored than the other. Saying "I love you" often and asking "How are you?" are great starts.

Mix up a great blend of harmony.
Foster harmonious relationships by resolving conflicts pronto. Bickering amongst siblings is normal, but taking it for granted is a big mistake. Teach your kids to express their emotions well- that is minus the shouting and fretting. Talk about issues, big and small, in an encouraging manner.

Simmer to perfection.
Family activities are good, but alone moments with you and your kid, or you and your husband/wife are also needed. Make a habit of setting aside a personal time with each member of your family. It could be during the long drive home, or a spontaneous trip to the mall.

DISCLOSURE POLICY

This policy is valid from 05 January 2009

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me.
